Job Summary:

Riverview Charter School is seeking dedicated and reliable Substitute Teachers to provide classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher. The ideal candidate will maintain a positive learning environment, follow lesson plans, and ensure a smooth transition for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow and implement lesson plans left by the absent teacher.

• Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment.

• Supervise students and ensure their safety and well-being.

• Foster an engaging and respectful learning atmosphere.

• Manage classroom behavior effectively and enforce school policies.

• Provide assistance to students with coursework as needed.

• Report on student progress and any issues to school administrators.

• Adhere to all school policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

• Teaching certification or relevant experience preferred.

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

• Ability to adapt to different subjects and grade levels.

• Patience, reliability, and a passion for education.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• On-call/ as needed basis.

• Flexible hours depending on school needs.

• Compensation based on experience and Riverview Charter School policies.
